Best K-Pop Trivia Questions for True Fans 2026

K-Pop has taken over the world, and the fandom shows no signs of slowing down. Whether you have been following Korean pop music since the Hallyu Wave or just got into it through TikTok, there is always more to learn about your favorite groups.

This guide covers the best K-Pop trivia questions across multiple groups and eras โ€” perfect for testing your own knowledge or hosting a quiz night with fellow fans.

BTS Trivia

BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan, or Beyond The Scene) is the biggest boy band in the world. Here are some facts even hardcore ARMYs might not know:

The members debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment (now HYBE). The original lineup of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook has never changed โ€” rare in K-Pop where member changes are common.

Their first Billboard Hot 100 entry was "Fake Love" in 2018, which peaked at number 10. They later scored their first number-one with "Dynamite" in 2020.

BTS stands for two things. The Korean name Bangtan Sonyeondan means "Bulletproof Boy Scouts." In 2017, they added the English meaning "Beyond The Scene."

RM learned English primarily by watching the TV show Friends. He is the group's main English speaker and has delivered speeches at the United Nations.

Jungkook is called the Golden Maknae because he excels at virtually everything โ€” singing, dancing, sports, art, and more. As the youngest member, he has been in BTS since he was 15.

BLACKPINK Trivia

BLACKPINK is the highest-charting female K-Pop act in history. Here is what true BLINKs should know:

BLACKPINK has only 4 members โ€” Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa โ€” making them one of the smallest major K-Pop groups. Most groups have 5-13 members.

Lisa is from Thailand, making her one of the most prominent non-Korean K-Pop idols. She speaks Thai, Korean, English, Japanese, and basic Chinese.

Their Coachella 2019 performance made them the first K-Pop group to perform at the festival. Their set attracted one of the largest live-stream audiences in YouTube history at the time.

The name BLACKPINK was chosen to contradict expectations. In Korean culture, pink is associated with prettiness, while black adds edge and toughness. The group represents both.

Jennie was the first to debut solo with the song "Solo" in November 2018, which became the first solo song by a K-Pop idol to surpass 1 billion streams.

Stray Kids Trivia

Stray Kids has rapidly become one of the biggest acts in K-Pop. Here is what STAYs should know:

The group was formed through a 2017 reality show also called "Stray Kids" on Mnet. Unlike typical survival shows, the competition was about teamwork rather than elimination.

3RACHA is their producing unit. Members Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han write and produce most of Stray Kids' music, giving the group unusual creative control.

Bang Chan is Australian. Born in Sydney, he moved to South Korea as a trainee at age 13 and trained for 7 years before debuting.

Their fans are called STAYs, which stands for a combination of "Stray Kids" and "stay" โ€” meaning the fans will always stay by their side.
