How we make our quizzes
Short version: every trivia answer gets checked against sources before it ships, every personality quiz is written by someone who actually knows the fandom, and when we get something wrong we fix it fast.
Research
Trivia questions are drafted from primary sources — the shows, games, albums and events themselves — and cross-checked against at least two independent references before publishing. Explanations cite the specific fact, not vibes. Topical quizzes (a new season, a game launch, a tournament) are re-verified against the latest official announcements on the day they go live, and dated facts get an update pass when the source material changes.
Personality quizzes
Personality and this-or-that quizzes are entertainment, not psychology. We say so on the results, we don't dress them up in fake science, and we write every outcome so it's fun to get — including the unflattering ones.
Live player stats
The "what players actually got" numbers on quiz pages come from real, anonymous plays on this site — our own first-party data, updated throughout the day. No numbers are invented or padded, and stats only appear once a quiz has enough plays to be meaningful.
Community quizzes
Anyone can create a quiz without an account. Every community quiz passes an automated filter and then a human review before it's published site-wide. Hateful content, spam, and stolen quizzes get rejected; repeat offenders get banned.
Corrections
Wrong answer? Outdated fact? Email hello@quizvault.app with the quiz and question. We check it, fix it, and note the update on the page. Most corrections ship within a week.
