Taissa Turner — Tawny Cypress A New Jersey state senator whose ambitions keep colliding with her past. Taissa has a disturbing condition — she sleepwalks into strange rituals she has no memory of — that suggests the wilderness left marks deeper than conscious memory.
Natalie Scatorccio — Juliette Lewis The most overtly troubled survivor, dealing with addiction and isolation. Natalie's toughness was her protection in the wilderness and her prison in civilian life. Juliette Lewis brings exactly the right raw energy to the role.

Adult Lottie — Simone Kessell In the present day, Lottie runs a spiritual wellness commune. She's not crazy — or if she is, the wilderness made her that way. Her followers are real. Her power is real.
The Wilderness Mythology
One of Yellowjackets' most distinctive elements is its ambiguity about the supernatural. Is the wilderness actually malevolent — some force feeding on their desperation? Or is it trauma, starvation, and the human capacity for magical thinking under extreme pressure?
The show deliberately refuses to answer this. The mysterious symbol carved near the cabin, the visions, the coincidences — they can all be explained naturally or supernaturally. Yellowjackets is smart enough to let both interpretations coexist.
